Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between a day charter and a term charter?

You have the option to rent a yacht for 4, 6, or 8 hours (Day Charter), or for several days and overnight (Term Charters) depending on where you want to go. If you are renting a yacht for the first time we recommend a day charter or a (2-4 day) term charter to experience the water world the right way. Here are our Top 5 Destinations for Day & Term Charters:

Day Charters:

– Miami

– Fisher Island

– Sunny Isles

– Fort Lauderdale

– Key Biscayne

Term Charters:

– Elliot Key

– Key Largo & Ocean Reef Club

– Bimini

– Marathon

– Key West

Where do we board?

Guests board at the specified marina. Also, delivery options are available upon request, but may be an additional cost.

Can I be picked up or dropped off in a different marina?

We can pick up/drop off at other marinas for an additional cost. Usually the landing fee is $2/ft.

How to book a yacht rental?

  1. Go to our yacht rentals page and pick your yacht.
  2. On the booking form, select your desired charter day, click on “Book Now”, and wait for the owner’s confirmation.
  3. Once the owner confirms availability, choose your preferred payment method and reserve your yacht.

At what time will my charter start/end?

Times are flexible for full day charters and term charters. Half day charters slots are usually:

  • 10am to 2pm
  • 3pm to 7pm
  • 8pm-midnight (when curfew allows)

Can I bring food and drinks to the yacht?

Yes, you can bring your own foods and drinks, but we typically recommend our catering service so it’s more of a hands off and luxury experience. Note that all of our yachts include fundamental items such as water, ice, plates, cups, silverware, napkins and paper towels.

How does your catering service work?

We will buy food/alcohol of your choice from restaurants, grocery stores, or liquor stores  for the yacht charter and have it organized, stored and ready for your trip.

The typical food choices vary from charter to charter depending on the preferences of each party. You are open to choose any options from grocery stores to liquor stores to restaurants that you desire. The process goes:

  1. Make a list of what foods, beverages, alcohol, wine, and more that you want on your charter.
  2. We collect an estimated amount of money through (Direct Deposit, Venmo, Zelle, etc.) based on the list you provided. This amount of money includes our $100 or 20% catering fee.
  3. The morning of your charter we shop for all the items you specified, we set the yacht up with your decorations, food, and drinks, and we keep the receipts of everything to show you the exact costs.
  4. If the estimation of your food cost + the catering fee ends up being less than what collected, we refund the remaining funds through your same form of purchase (Direct Deposit, Venmo, Zelle, etc.). This is all in the contract we will send to be signed, to ensure you’ll be in good hands.

What if it rains?

248 out of the 365 days are sunny in Miami. It’s hard to trust the weather apps because the weather changes constantly and sometimes it rains for 20 minutes and the rest of the day is beautiful and sunny. Sometimes it says it would rain even up to the same morning and the day turns out to be sunny with little or no rain. Also, if the weather app says that it’s going to rain a little, the captain normally has a more developed weather app that allows him to drive in the opposite direction and avoid the rain.

If the weather is bad and the captain says the weather is unsafe to go out, you can reschedule or get a refund for your charter.

What’s your cancelation policy?

– If the captain says the weather is unsafe to go out, you can reschedule or get a refund for your charter.

– If for any reason you decide to reschedule your charter, you’re allowed to do so up until 7 days prior to your charter day.

– If you decide to cancel a confirmed booking less than 10 days prior to your charter, the paid rental price is not refundable. However, the security deposit on hold at the time of cancellation will be refunded to you.

This cancelation policy applies to most yachts in Miami, but some specific owners work with different cancelation policies so please confirm with us prior to booking your next yacht rental.

How long does it take to get my security deposit back?

Yes, there is a deposit to secure the yacht. The deposit will be released 24 hours after your trip if there are no damages to the yacht. It should appear in your account 3-5 business days after your charter. In the case a claim is filed, the security deposit will be held until the claim is resolved. The common damages that cause your deposit to be held are:

Clogging the toilets usually by putting plastic materials or feminine products that can potentially damage the pump.

Damages to the Jet Skies or any other water toy.

Security deposits are rarely kept.
